Ageless Style: The Color Brown

So excited to be headed to the beach this week for a vacation with our Carolina kids and grands. I am confident there will be lots of drip castles built, boogie boarding, bike riding, and Cookie Monster ice cream eaten. Time spent with family is the best.

Speaking of family, recently while in Texas, my daughter and I were shopping at one of her favorite boutiques; The Local. I can always find fun jewelry and clothing and therefore, love the shop, too. When I buy clothes, I like to find items that are more one of a kind.

I am always looking for summer dresses and saw this brown silk-ish dress on the hangar and loved the tunic/chemise style. I asked the owner if she had it in another color and she said no, but suggested I try it on. I am so glad I did. I absolutely love this dress and the beautiful color of brown.

I can honestly say that the only brown clothing I have is a brown turtleneck. However, after this purchase, will be seeking out other wardrobe pieces in all shades of brown.

I desperately tried to find this dress or similar ones to link with no luck. However, I have linked my shoes (a casual and a wedge choice) and accessories, where available.
