Ageless Style: Casual Dresses For Any Age

The first time I looked at this photo, I did a 2nd take as I thought it looked so much like my daughter, Hannah.

All I can say is, I’m happy to be back. I am sure you noticed I took time off from the blog. About seven months to be exact. I was working full time and did not have the bandwidth each day. I continued with my social media but realize that not all of you are on those mediums, so I’m sorry because I missed you, too! The good news is you will be seeing more of me.

It’s been a tough year so far with a lot of goodness sprinkled in. Mr. Silver lost his Father due to Covid and his mother three weeks later. They had been married for 70 years. Their absence has been felt but we also draw comfort in knowing they are together in heaven.

As for the blog, I am still covering Ageless Style, Ageless Adventures, and fitness, Bold Beauty, and Positive Aging. However, you may see more mixed in from time to time. And I am always open to ideas (about what you would like to see) so please comment with anything else you would like to see. I love a great recipe and a good cocktail, so may share a few that I love from time to time.

I have a love of dresses and today it’s all about two casual dresses; one black and one white both similar styles. These are from Target, as I like to be conscious that many of us are not spending a lot on clothes after the year we have been through.

I am also wearing new silver Cowgirl boots that my daughter and son-in-law gave me for Christmas and perfect with these dresses. We kept looking for a vintage pair but could not find the right size, so this was a fun surprise. I love a good western boot and is always a good way to make a dress more casual.

It feels good to be back and hope all of you are safe and getting back to our new normal. Enjoy the memorial weekend, which to me is almost as important as the 4th of July. Honoring and mourning our military personnel who have died performing their military duties while serving all of us in the United States.
