For the Love of Linen

I love linen spring, summer, and fall and if I showed you my closet you would see a lot of it. Why? It’s cool and in the SouthEast when its muggy 75% of the year, it is literally one of the best things to wear.

I have not shopped this spring. However I did venture out to my friend Michelle’s boutique in Hilton Head recently. In fact, it was the day she reopened for appointments. Birdie James is where chic and authentic are synonymous and is one of my favorite places to shop on the island. Why? There is a great vibe that is relaxed and fun and I can always find what I want and need. It’s a fun place to browse fabulous fashions for any age. My daughter and daughter in law love Birdie James, too.

I chose this beautiful turquoise/teal look. And if you don’t know, turquoise is one of the four biggest colors for summer. And what sealed the deal was its LINEN. Since I will not be going out as much, it’s comfy and casual for home. The brand is Bryn WALKER and is made in the USA. It’s a great price point and the Birdie James staff will gladly ship it to you. It comes in minty greeen color, too. So definitely check it out!
