Spring Casual Wear
I hope and pray that each one of you is doing well during these unusual and challenging times. I am sure you are doing the same as us; hunkering down in your homes, making a few necessary trips out, ordering in, etc. We saw my Mom and sis last weekend at a distance and our grands as well. I have been volunteering (very carefully and safely) and have to say I feel it is helping me more than I am helping others.
As you may know, the first couple of weeks, I struggled. I did not feel in my heart that it was in good taste to promote people shopping when so many were struggling during this time. And I still feel that way. I attended a webinar that helped me think of ways I could use my influence to help others. Since then, I have tried to promote positivity, small businesses that may not have a voice and COVID-19 awareness efforts. I feel that this is the best use of my time right now. The other side of the story is that people are sharing that Bloggers and Influencers should post and stay consistent because it provides a distraction at this point similar to watching shows on Netflix and Prime
My husband and I own a small business and employ 5 others. We too are now shut down like so many. The phrase “we are all in this together” is definitely ringing true.
I have a few collaborations coming up that I am excited about and plan to share those here and there. Speaking of… I know we are all thinking of spring, warm weather, and comfy clothes so, I’m excited to share this look by the XCVI brand. I have featured them in previous posts. They design clothes for busy women who want wearable, breathable, movable clothing that is casual and chic. I love this fun Pullover in Cherrywood with the matching Trace Skirt. They are both very lightweight and made of cotton spandex. And right now just about everything on the site is 25% off. This is one of the items I have been wearing this spring… with or without makeup. I have to say I have enjoyed not putting makeup on every single day. What about you?
Mr. Silver is using this downtime to expand his office upstairs and remodel it for “moi.” We are flip-flopping offices and I am looking forward to it. He is still in the construction phase and I can’t wait to begin the selection and decorating phase. Decisions, decisions. Our downstairs is very monochromatic; white, tan, beige, black and brown and I want to add more color upstairs… so stay tuned.
Tell me what you are up to in the comments below. I love to hear from you, too.
Thank you to XCVI for sponsoring this post.
