Black and Bling

Happy Tuesday friends! Hope everyone is having a wonderful week. I started yesterday morning off with an interview by WCNC NBC Charlotte for a feature on Silver is the New Blonde® they are working on. It was fun and have to say I loved being in front of the camera especially when I can talk about my passion: helping Mid-Life women and positive aging!

I had an event over the weekend and decided on a black dress. The event wasn’t super dressy but I wanted to look great. I chose a simple, chic black dress by Sympli and blinged it up a bit with a fun, statement necklace and clutch found at T.J. Maxx. Have you ever shopped TJ’s handbag and jewelry department? If not, I recommend it. I have found some great items there. The necklace and bag brought some color into play and a touch of bling. This same simple black dress (that also comes in navy) would look great with sandals or tennis shoes dressed down.

If you are not familiar with Sympli, it is a great choice for travel and everyday wear due to the fantastic quality and fabric. It is typically sold in finer boutiques but now available at Amazon. Sympli gifted me my dress.
