Red and Pink for the Holidays

Hoping everyone is ready for the holidays. I am hustling and bustling to get prepared. Thanksgiving’s lateness this year has thrown me for a loop and I am behind. However, I have a plan to get started earlier next year as we will experience the same in 2020.

We had our Texas children come in for Thanksgiving and Mr. Silver and I have been traveling some. So between work and weekend travel, that has added to my current state.

I recently did a Holiday event at my local Trina Turk store. I wore a beautiful holiday dress for the event and so many of you loved it. I love the colors and sparkles too and it’s just different enough for the holidays.

However, I chose another outfit to share with you here on the blog. A bright pink top - Akela and the Moss 2 cigarette style pants. I love the pink and red colors together and see myself wearing this time and time again. There is nothing like pink to brighten the day coupled with this fun geo pattern. And I feel that women of all ages can wear this look. I have already worn it to a holiday party and also plan to wear it to some upcoming celebrations in January and February. Since the colors are so fun and upbeat, I feel it could be worn through the spring, too.
