A few months back, I had the opportunity to wear three Teri Jon dresses for an article and photo shoot featuring several Mother of the Bride/Groom dresses for Paul Simon Women in Charlotte by yours truly and @scoopcharlotte. I sincerely did not know what I was in for until I put the first dress on and my heart skipped a beat when I looked in the mirror. The quality, the designs and the fabrics make these dresses very special and a brand that women have trusted with all of life’s special occasions for over 35 years.
Rickie Freeman, the founder, CEO and designer at Teri Jon is also a wife, mother, and grandmother; and believes that all of these roles combined are her inspiration behind the collections. I love the fact that Rickie tries on each and every design ensuring a proper fit for every woman.
After the article above was published, Teri Jon reached out and asked if I would be interested in working with their company. I literally jumped at the chance!
This brings me back to the dress I am featuring today. My very own Teri Jon dress… needless to say… I am thrilled. I paired this dress with simple jewelry and silver pumps by Michael Kors.
I chose this dressbecause of both the print but also the beautiful design. It reminded me of dresses that my Mom and Grandma’s wore back in the 50’s . Polka dots are timeless and ageless just like the Duke Mansion where these pictures were taken, in the Myers Park neighborhood of Charlotte.
The Duke Mansion was built in 1915 has been home and host to leaders of the 20th century. Duke’s most lasting legacies, including Duke University, Duke Energy and the Duke Endowment, took shape at the home. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Mansion is operated as a nonprofit with all proceeds being used to preserve and protect this community treasure.
As you can see this community treasure is a wonderful place to stay, celebrate, meet and relax. If you are planning any of the above or looking for a very special venue in the Charlotte area, you have to include the Duke Mansion… where character and charm reside.
Thank you to Teri Jon for sponsoring this post! I am humbled to have featured the brand and this beautiful dress. I may get a commission if you purchase through LIKEtoKNOW.it. However, the links here take you straight to the Teri Jon website.

My goal is to share ageless style, and endless fun, from a sincerely silver perspective. Including fashion, beauty, and relevant lifestyle information as we share this journey together! And as always thank you for reading my blog!
